The Kapil Sharma Show has been one of the most entertaining shows on television. Though the show had been witnessing some ups and downs in the TRP chart, the love showered by the audience has been enormous. Celebrities from every walk of life have visited the show and had lots of fun interacting with Kapil Sharma and the live audience. From making candid revelations to pulling each others’ leg, celebrity guests have enjoyed their time laughing leaving aside all their worries.
The show had always been in the limelight, be it for Kapil’s weird behaviour on sets to Navjot Singh Sidhu’s scatching remarks on the show. After all the hiatus over the past few years, The Kapil Sharma Show is back on track and spreading love and laughter even during the pandemic.
However, despite being everyone’s favourite and celebrities one stop place for promoting their upcoming projects, there have been a few popular celebrities who refused to be a part of the show. Take a look.
The veteran actor recently revealed the reason behind his absence from Mahabharat reunion on The Kapil Sharma Show. He said that he was the one who bluntly rejected the invitation calling the comedy show cheap and vulgar. In a long Instagram post, Mukesh Khanna listed all the complaints he has against The Kapil Sharma Show.
Revealing the reason why he rejected to invitation to join the Mahabharat cast on the show, Khanna said, “The reason is that even though the Kapil Show is popular all over the country, I do not think there is a worse show than this. This show is full of fuhadpana, full of double meaning words, taking a turn towards vulgarity with every moment. In which the men wear women’s clothes, do cheap things and people laugh, holding their stomachs.”
Several cricketers such as Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and even legends like Kapil Dev have been a part of the show. However, Mahendra Singh Dhoni had refused to be a part of the show. It was reported that MS Dhoni had a busy schedule and couldn’t be a part of the show despite being invited several times.
It’s not as if Aamir was invited and didn’t go on the show because of some reason. The superstar hasn’t been a part of any show as she doesn’t believe in promoting his films. He might grace the show with his presence as per his wish, but, as of now, he is the only Khan among the three Khans including Shah Rukh and Salman Khan, who is not a regular visitor on the comedy show.
After MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar is another legendary cricketer who hasn’t been part of the show because of his busy schedule. Even his wife couldn’t visit the show despite being invited by Navjot Singh Sidhu, his former member of the Indian cricket team.
