Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz became the most favourite duo after they were seen in Bigg Boss 13. Their close bonding in the show made everyone wish to see them as a real couple. #SidNaaz became a trend and fans loved the couple. Post Bigg Boss 13, we saw them together in a music video, Bhula Dunga. The song became a huge hit and fans could not stop gushing over Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill’s chemistry. Now, the two have returned with another music video and this time it is a peppy number. Shona Shona released today and fans loved the cute chemistry between Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill. They totally took us back to their Bigg Boss 13 days and we once again were rooting for #SidNaaz. In an interview with BollywoodLife, Sidharth Shukla revealed who is the Shona in his life. He said, “My audience, they keep me positive, they keep reminding me that they are waiting to see me in my next project, they share feedback, constructive criticism, and so much love…what else can one ask for?”
He was also asked about Shehnaaz Gill’s glamourous transformation after Bigg Boss 13, Bhula Dunga. He had a question instead and said, “Why don’t you let her answer that?” He also spoke about 2020 being a great one for him while it was tough for many others. He said, “I’m grateful that I have had quality time with my family and yet been able to explore a new medium of music videos and within the medium various genres from a romantic song, a heartbreaking number to now a fun peppy song.” The Balika Vadhu actor also spoke about the love he has been receiving from fans. He shared, “It’s a huge blessing! I am grateful to them for putting in so much time and effort into connecting, loving, sharing feedback.” Sidharth Shukla will be celebrating his birthday on December 12.
He was asked about his birthday plans. He said, “None yet, but would love to have a working birthday that is wrapped up by a close family gathering.” He also spoke about a lot of music videos happening in 2020. He said, “2020 due to the pandemic has given music videos a huge opportunity. They are short term shoots and films were completely on hold with theatres shut and tv too wasn’t operating for months, and OTT was majorily releasing content shot before the pandemic. Hence, I feel music videos had a huge advantage during this period as people were consuming more content digitally and music truly has no language, it lightens one’s mood. And with shoots lasting anywhere from one to a few days, it was actually possible to shoot, edit and release some sort of entertainment in these difficult times when it comes to music videos.”
“Having said that, honestly there have been a lot of projects including many music videos coming my way in this year. But what excites me is something different. While I have already done a romantic and heartbreaking soulful number, this one is peppy and hence in a completely different zone and genre all together. I am being selective about the projects I do because I don’t want to repeat myself or be doing the same thing over and over again.
