Pawan Kalyan’s recent interaction with BJP MPs had raised doubts and triggered speculations of possible tie-up. Making all those expectations true, Pawan Kalyan, along with his right-hand man Nadendla Manohar, has visited Delhi and met BJP’s National Working President JP Nadda, BJP General Secretary BL Santhosh, Bangalore South MP Tejaswi Surya.
As per reports from Delhi, Pawan Kalyan and BJP’s working president Jagat Prakash Nadda have come to an understanding that both their parties (Janasena and BJP) would work together in Andhra Pradesh. The duo have agreed to work under Single Agenda although their parties, flags are different. It is also believed that Janasena and BJP would contest together in AP in all the coming elections. This is a crucial development in Andhra Pradesh as a third political alternative is emerging in the state.
Already, the talks regarding the same have been going on for over a month. Finally, on Monday, both Janasena and BJP have come to a formal understanding on alliance. An official announcement is expected to be made after Sankranthi.
Since Pawan is waging a battle with CM Jaganmohan Reddy and YCP, Pawan joining hands with BJP gives him strength. This is a significant political development as one has to wait and see how Pawan Kalyan and Janasena along with BJP would counter YCP. Interestingly, BJP AP unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana is not seen at the crucial meeting. Kanna is expected to meet Pawan once he get orders from the top brass.
On the other hand, Pawan has headed to Kakinada today (Tuesday) as YCP workers have allegedly attacked Janasena party workers. Pawan is in Kakinada in support of his party workers. This has tensed the situation in Kakinada with both Janasena and YCP workers at loggerheads.
