Jamabandhi held

Collector (in-charge) S. Shantha Kumar took part in the Jamabandhi or annual audit of revenue records in Peraiyur and Vadipatti taluks on Wednesday.

Tahsildars, Revenue Inspectors and Village Administrative Officers took part in the event.

Officials said that most of the petitions submitted to officials were related to name transfer in patta, Old Age Pension, income certificate and family cards. Eligible applications were disposed of on the spot and others would be cleared after inquiries.
