AP Transport Minister Perni Nani made interesting comments that Telangana CM KCR suggested AP CM YS Jagan not to merge Andhra Pradesh State Road Transports Corporation (APSRTC) with the government. Speaking at the safety and fuel conservation awards, Nani stated so.
“Many opposed RTC merger with the government. Even Telangana KCR objected it by saying, it would put severe burden on government’s treasury. However AP CM YS Jagan took it has challenge and finally merged the RTC with the government. Though this definitely puts liability on government, Jagan has stuck to his words,” said Nani.
Further the minister asked RTC employees to keep faith on the government and very soon government will look into the issues of CPS and also the demands of pensions to retired RTC employees.
