‘Issues of non-teaching staff will be addressed’

Education Minister A. Suresh has said that the YSR Congress Party government has been taking good care of the education system in the State, and ₹33,000 crore has been allotted for the betterment of the sector.

He was speaking at a meeting of the non-teaching staff organised by the State unions at the Rayalaseema University on Saturday.

He said that the private institutions must not be fixated on profits, but emerge as sacred spaces for learning and teaching.

He called upon the non-teaching staff to aid the government during the introduction of new schemes. New staff would be hired as necessary, and the government would look into regularising the jobs of CPS and contract employees, he said.
