Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen exchanged wedding vows with his ladylove Charu Asopa on June 7. The duo opted for a court marriage but have planned a destination wedding in Goa and it is expected to be a lavish affair. The big ceremony is being planned by Sushmita and her family. Rajeev and Charu will take the wedding vow again on June 16. While there is time for that, Sushmita recently penned a heartfelt note for her brother and sister-in-law after their court-marriage. Charu and Rajeev took to their Instagram handles and shared the special note that they received from former Miss Universe.
Rajeev shared a picture of that note on his Instagram note with a caption that read, “Beautiful message from sister to Charu and me for our 7th of June court wedding.”

Spilling beans about their marriage, Charu Asopa had told Hindustan Times, “We will have a destination wedding in Goa on June 16. The theme of the wedding is ‘Royal traditional’ so everything will be in that style. Functions will be engagement on 14th, followed by sangeet and mehendi on June 15 and haldi and wedding on June 16. We are getting married in both Bengali and Rajasthani style and rituals as Rajeev is a Bengali and I am a Rajasthani.”
Rajeev had also revealed how his sister Sushmita is the one who has been working and prepping hard for his wedding celebrations. “My sister is the most excited about my wedding with Charu. She has been working very hard day and night to make things happen, as we don’t have much time at all. June 16 could only happen because of my sister, mom and dad. It’s never easy to do things at the last minute. I am very blessed,” he had informed HT.
