Nicole Scherzinger performs at Coronation Concert

Nicole Scherzinger, 44, has revealed she will be in the UK “more often” as she is set to work on top-secret projects.

The former X Factor judge said her upcoming work will “not disappoint” after she wowed fans with her vocals on Sunday at the Coronation Concert.

Speaking to BBC Radio 2, she revealed: “I’m going to be here more often I think. Working on a couple of different projects which I can’t reveal yet but I will not disappoint, as you know.”

The Pussycat Dolls frontwoman sang a rendition of Reflection, accompanied by pianist Lang Lang, which was written and produced for Disney’s 1998 animated film Mulan.

And the singer gave an incredible vocal display wowing a crowd of over 20,000 at the concert – as well as millions of others watching at home.

The powerful performance prompted applause from both the King and Queen – with the King turning to the Queen after the performance to say a few words.

Fans on social media agreed and @_xFran tweeted: “Miss Nicole Scherzinger reminding everyone she is a VOCALIST!”

@s_ffron7 agreed and tweeted: “Didn’t know that Nicole Scherzinger could sing like that, fair play.”

@paddysatch1m agreed and said: “Well, who knew Nicole could sing like that!!!!”

Speaking ahead of the event Nicole said she felt “overjoyed” and “honoured” to take the stage.

“Now that I’m here, it just feels really surreal. Being on the ground and having Windsor Castle as your backdrop is the dream,” she added.

She had also confirmed that she was going to be breaking new ground and performing the Disney song, prior to her performance.

She said: “I’m actually singing a song I’ve never sung before, It’s called Reflection, from Mulan, the Disney movie and I love the lyrics.

“I feel like a real-life Disney princess up there with the castle in the back. And the song is a beautiful song with the lyrics, so I wanna make sure I communicate those lyrics.”

The singer said she found the coronation service on Saturday to be “remarkable”, as her home country of America does not have the same type of pageantry.

Nicole joined the likes of Take That, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry in gracing the Castle’s East Lawn for our newly-crowned King and Queen.
