Elizabeth Hurley, 55 , took to social media yesterday to share a glamorous picture with her 1.7 million Instagram followers. The sexy snap is the first to be posted on her grid following a heartfelt tribute to her ex boyfriend Steve Bing – the father of her 18-year-old son Damian – who died last month.

The model and actress could be seen in a red satin dress in the smouldering social media snap.

The low-cut strapless number nipped in at the waist to showcase her slim figure and teased a glimpse of her ample cleavage.

The short hemline of the dress also highlighted her toned and tanned pins as she posed up a storm on a stylish chair with a drink in hand.

Liz captioned the image: “Bars may be open but I’m still staying at home #safer #nice.”

Instagram followers and fans were delighted to see the star return to the picture-sharing site and took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One user said: “Beautiful and smart. Stay well. See you at the bar later.”

Commenting on her outfit another Instagram user added: “Oh my love. BEAUTIFUL lady in red,” while a third remarked: “Very sexy in satin.”

“Elizabeth, you continue to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. You rock, gorgeous,” a fourth fan added.

  • Steve Bing dead: Liz Hurley’s ex and Kangaroo Jack writer dies aged 55

On June 23, Liz posted a series of pictures of herself with her ex Steve Bing, who she met and dated in 2000 when the pair were both in their mid-30s.

The American film producer, who was best known for writing Kangaroo Jack, died by sucide at the age of 55, the day before her tribute post.

Her loving tribute read: “I am saddened beyond belief that my ex Steve is no longer with us. It is a terrible end.

“Our time together was very happy and I’m posting these pictures because although we went through some tough times, it’s the good, wonderful memories of a sweet, kind man that matter.”

Revealing she had recently been in contact with the father of her only son, she went on to say: “In the past year we had become close again. We last spoke on our son’s 18th birthday.”

Liz signed off by thanking her fans and followers for their support: “This is devastating news and I thank everyone for their lovely messages.”

The former couple’s son Damian also thanked his fans for their “overwhelming kindness” during the “challenging time” on his own Instagram account.
