Katie Price claims she ‘doesn’t care anymore’ if she gets sent to prison

Katie Price confesses to 'exciting' thing she’s done

Katie Price has claimed she “won’t care” if she’s sent to prison, as she insists she is “fed up” after attending court so many times.

The star, 45, told the Mirror how she would happily be sent to prison because she has now gone to court more times than she has had “hot dinners”.

“I genuinely don’t care if I go to prison because it’s done then,” she insisted ahead of her expected bankruptcy hearing next month.

Katie, who was once thought to be worth millions during the height of her career, has said she is also no longer “scared of court” and thinks that going to jail in order to cover all her misdemeanours would actually be a “win-win situation”.

She told the publication: “The bankruptcy I’m in, I actually think it’s quite good for me to be in a bankruptcy, and it’s good because I can see everything that’s going on now.

“Whereas before, I was in the fast lane. I’m so threatened with court letters. I’ve been to court more times than I’ve had hot dinners lately.

“I am not scared of court anymore,” she claimed. “I have said, ‘Can’t you put me to prison just to cover it all? Just be done with it.’ I’m fed up with the reminders and why I’m in it [court]. I genuinely don’t care if I go to prison. Because it’s done then.”

Katie even claimed she’d be keen to see “what it’s like” in prison and that she could profit of her post-jail experience if she does get put away.

“I love all the prison stuff and I can experience what it’s like in there,” she suggested. “I could do a story when I come out of me in prison, and it’s a win-win situation isn’t it?

“It wouldn’t affect my job, it wouldn’t affect nothing. I wouldn’t be in there long. If they keep threatening me, just do it. ‘If you do this you could go to prison …’ Just do it.”

Katie was declared bankrupt back in 2019 and – at a court hearing held at the Royal Courts of Justice over her £3.2 million debt repayment in July – she was accused of a “breach of income payments agreement”.

She is expected to give evidence at a further bankruptcy hearing on September 14.

Back in December 2021, Katie narrowly avoided jail when she was handed a suspended 16-week prison sentence after crashing her car while she was banned from driving and under the influence.

Kate is engaged to fiancé Carl Woods, 34, and is mother to five children: Harvey, 21, Junior, 18, Princess, 16, Jett, 10 and nine-year-old Bunny.
