Jonathan Van Ness rocks a crutch at ‘Big Little Lies’ premiere
“Queer Eye” star Jonathan Van Ness didn’t let an ankle injury keep him from looking fierce.
On Wednesday evening, the Fab Five member was at the Season 2 premiere of “Big Little Lies” at Lincoln Center with a crutch as his accessory.
“He was leaning on the crutch pretty hard,” a spy told Page Six. “Someone was overheard saying he still looked fabulous despite the injury.”
JVN, 32, who took to his Instagram story to confirm that the injury was a sprained ankle, donned a sheer long-sleeve top and full-length skirt for the event.
“OK, so I sprained my ankle today, praying to God it’s not broken,” he said in a selfie video alongside model Denise Bidot. “I could not miss the ‘Big Little Lies’ premiere with Denise … Not today!”
He ditched the crutch for professional photos ahead of the HBO premiere.
The Netflix star, who regularly practices ice skating and gymnastics, showed that he injured himself earlier Wednesday on his Instagram story.
“Please don’t be f–ked up baby ankle,” he wrote of a pic of his foot iced with a bag of frozen veggies.
Van Ness also announced the release of his memoir, “Over the Top,” earlier on Wednesday.
