Bharat box office collection day 5 early estimates: Salman Khan’s film fails to show growth due to India Vs Australia WC match | Bollywood Life
Salman Khan’s Bharat witnessed a good jump on Saturday but unfortunately failed to show substantial growth yesterday due to the nail-biter cricket world cup match between India and Australia. As per the early estimates, the period drama raked in around Rs 26 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 148.20 crore at the ticket windows. The film is now the fourth-highest grosser of the year after Uri: The Surgical Strike, Kesari and Total Dhamaal.
The film has already turned out to be the highest opening weekend grosser of the year and looking at the current scenario, we are expecting it to be the highest grosser of 2019. Apart from Salman Khan, the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Aasif Sheikh, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Tabu and Sonali Kulkarni in key roles. It is directed by Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan helmer Ali Abbas Zafar.

Our editor-in-chief, Tushar Joshi has praised the performance of its lead cast and wrote, “Salman goes all out to play the title role to his full potential. Very much aware of the pressures of pandering to his fandoms wishes he maintains a good balance between being a superhero and doing justice to his character. Katrina holds her ground against Salman and her introduction scene with him showcases her often under utilised light side.”
